The LightWare SF33S/B is a medium range (0-50m) multi-beam laser sensor designed specifically for UAV obstacle detection.

The SF33S/B is a multi-beam laser sensor for obstacle detection. It creates a straight beam pattern using three laser beams, each of which provides an independent distance reading. The SF33S/B provides a wider effective beam than a single beam unit giving a total of 10 degrees coverage in one axis.

The three beams each update 9156 times per second (3052 times per second per beam) allowing them to detect small obstacles.

Typical applications for the SF33S/B are SLAM scanning systems and maintaining FAA corridor limits.  This is a vital UAS component.  

All connectors and cabling are provided with the unit.
